We've all heard the saying, "It's not about the destination, but the journey." But what happens when the journey is unclear, when the path is muddled, and the destination seems out of reach?
In 2017, this ministry began as an idea for a women's group. It wasn't clear to me what direction this group should take, but I just felt this was something I needed/wanted to do. However, the universe has its timing, and the vision wasn't clear then. It took another five years, a deeper personal journey, and an unmistakable nudge from God for this dream to find its true direction.
Discovering the Woman in the Middle Amidst life's chaos and charm, many women find themselves playing an irreplaceable role—that of the woman in the middle. She's the glue holding everything together, often silently and thanklessly. She maneuvers through her days, oscillating between routine challenges and uncharted territories, seldom realizing that there might be a divine voice beckoning her. I recognized this woman because, once upon a time, I walked in her shoes.
Recognizing this phase wasn't just an eye-opener; it was soul-stirring. It was a revelation that there’s a higher purpose, a deeper connection to seek. My personal journey involved seeking God's wisdom, allowing myself to be receptive to His messages, and, importantly, seeking therapy to expedite the healing process.
In this spiritual sojourn, a yearning grew—a yearning for a community where kindred spirits could converge. A place free from judgment, where stories were shared, bonds were forged, and where, together, we could progress towards a life that transcended the ordinary. and this is where "Moving Beyond the Middle: God-Therapy-Community" was born. Moving Beyond the Middle is not just a name; it's a philosophy. It stands for:
Growth (God): At the heart of our journey is the pursuit of a deeper, more profound connection with God. This is an invitation to delve into the spiritual truths He lays before us, to seek personal healing, and to discover the expansive, abundant life God envisions for each one of us. Through Him, we understand our purpose and our path.
Thriving (Therapy): Through therapy, we recognize the importance of addressing our mental and emotional well-being alongside our spiritual growth. It's our bridge to break free from past traumas, hurts, or habits that hinder us. Therapy provides us with the tools and insights to move from mere existence to a life filled with purpose, passion, and divine joy.
Connection (Community): A communion of kindred souls. Here, we create a haven where women can seek, share, and support one another. In unity, we find strength, understanding, and an environment where spiritual blossoming is not just possible but inevitable.
In intertwining God, Therapy, and Community, we present a holistic approach to self-discovery, healing, and growth. Join us in this journey, and let's move, grow, and thrive together, venturing beyond the middle and into the realm of divine abundance.
Join the Movement If you've ever felt the gentle tug of something more profound, if you've ever wondered about the whispers of the divine, or if you've ever felt that there's an abundant life waiting just beyond the horizon, Beyond the Middle is your haven. Our commitment is to be a beacon, illuminating the path for those seeking spiritual and personal growth. From workshops to therapy sessions, resources to events, we aim to cater to the holistic well-being of every woman joining our fold. So here's our open invitation: Come, embark on this divine journey with us. Let's move, grow, and thrive, going beyond the middle, and discovering the bountiful life that beckons. Sharing personal journeys, especially those rooted in spiritual awakenings, is both brave and beautiful. This blog aims to serve as an open letter, inviting kindred spirits to join in this mission. Blessings on your journey! Remember to "embrace the journey as you move beyond the middle, one faith step at a time. Until next time, stay inspired and keep shining!"
